Terms of Use (EULA)

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the LockNote app ("the app"). By downloading or using LockNote, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

LockNote is distributed through the Apple App Store. Unless a custom license agreement is shown for LockNote in App Store Connect, your use of the app is also governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use LockNote on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's standard EULA, the Apple App Store Terms of Service, and these Terms.

2. Acceptable use

You agree to use LockNote only for lawful purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, resell, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

LockNote offers an optional LockNote Pro upgrade through in-app purchase. Prices below are US reference prices; the final localized price is shown in the app and in the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm payment.

• Monthly Pro: auto-renewable subscription, 1-month period, $0.99 per month.
• Yearly Pro: auto-renewable subscription, 1-year period, $4.99 per year, approximately $0.42 per month.
• Lifetime Pro: non-renewing one-time purchase, $9.99.

For auto-renewable subscriptions:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device Settings under your Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Any unused portion of a free trial or promotional period, if offered, may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

4. Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies. Please contact Apple Support for refund inquiries.

5. Third-party services

LockNote relies on Apple Shortcuts and other Apple operating-system features to set your Lock Screen. Your use of those features is also subject to Apple's terms. We are not responsible for changes Apple makes to those features.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

LockNote is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or future iOS version.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynodTech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, LockNote.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
